Tech Trouble- Public Service Announcement

I have a long-standing rivalry with technology. Technology just doesn’t seem to like me. I probably haven’t helped that cause by putting two phones through the washing machine and dropping one down the toilet, but for whatever reason, I just don’t get on with it. You’ve already seen the problems I’ve had with font sizes in some articles here. It just happens.

Now I have a more critical problem. For the last couple of days I haven’t been able to watch videos on my computer. All I am met with is a green screen, as I shall demonstrate with the picture below

Tech Trouble.png

This is rather problematic, because I use iPlayer to rewatch part of the episodes to help me write these reviews. That and I use the episode to screengrab pictures that are dotted throughout the articles. So, until this fixes itself, I’m a bit stuck.

As such, I don’t know when the next Robot Review will be. It’s a problem I’ve had before, and usually it fixes itself after a couple of days. Unfortunately the episode drops off iPlayer at 9pm tonight and I still have 3 reviews to write for this episode, but there are other ways to watch it (Which I should point out also result in the green screen, otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered with this and just written the review).

This has been a public service announcement that I’m sure none of you care much about, but should hopefully explain my potential absence over the next couple of days.

    1. Nah, for one I have a TV licence, but more than that it’s something that affects video across the internet. So things like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr etc also have the same problem. It’s happened to me before too, so hopefully it’ll clear itself in a couple of days like it did last time.
